So we'd have to close our eyes, but that's just a bonus relaxation moment...

I hear it works just as well with a glass of wine (or vodka) than a cup of coffee ;)Frédériquehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04003116910366855585noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5105130528225923495.post-38798798336471197012009-06-15T23:19:45.619+03:002009-06-15T23:19:45.619+03:00I have a friend who has the reverse of SAD. It is pretty weird but is apparently a real disorder.

In Norway the gov't pays for 2 weeks vacation to warmer sunnier climates for each of its citizens...But with those very long winter nights and penetrating cold I don't see how 2 weeks would suffice.

I think a large part of aging is acceptance...

But as Marvell said (love that Marvell!) in his carpe diem poem which you cite, especially written during times when life was much shorter, that for all of us youth is short...

As this still remains a fact...so I would counter this with the wise adage of Baba Ram Dass who said "Be here now" and embrace the you you have.

Toss the jeans and keep trying to stay fit but relax or else your life will be prolonged dissatisfaction and where's that at??? xovvalentinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07594647719641535734noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5105130528225923495.post-23919214007066762982009-06-15T17:08:30.852+03:002009-06-15T17:08:30.852+03:00The long gloomy winter leads to eating comfort foo...The long gloomy winter leads to eating comfort food.
